Why QUALISTA® ?


The European health standards regarding contamination of cereals have been strengthened regularly to meet the growing requirements of both consumers and those in charge of health and hygiene. QUALISTA® intends to offer a solution that anticipates future regulations.

QUALISTA® is the brand dedicated to the industrialists contractually committed to offer an outstanding quality of cereals and flours for the benefit of the consumer. For them it is not the means but the results that matter, in five fields:
  • Unequalled food safety: the contaminant content (pesticide residues, mycotoxins, bacteria, insect larvae, fungi) usually accepted in cereals is greatly reduced, to well below the standards set by the health authorities, starting with regulation wheat.
  • This significant decrease in contaminants makes it possible to offer new nutritional products with high fibre, mineral and vitamin contents, particularly by using the aleurone layer which is rich in many nutritional components and the peripheral layers of cereals which are very rich in fibre.
  • New technological properties for mill products (flour, bran, fibre, etc.). For instance, they make it possible to produce flour with a higher fibre content whilst maintaining technological quality. These new properties lead to the design of new products.
  • New organoleptic properties (creamy, smooth crumb, flavour closer to that of wheat, etc.) They comply with the current consumer requirements. QUALISTA® brings an original answer to this prevailing trend.
  • Products with naturally reduced enzymatic activities. Thanks to this characteristic, the industrialists may avoid possible rancidity (when fat is added) or any kind of oxidation in fresh products.
